Yes, you read that right! Hot on the heels of the v1.2 release of Building the British Phantoms Volume One, Simon Hill, our esteemed provider of profiles, spots an error in one of his contributions. Well, you know the drill: the error has been corrected, and v1.3 is now available!

Announcing “Building the Wingnut Wings Felixstowe F.2A (Early) in 1/32 Scale”!

I’m pleased to announce that the next title in our Build Guide Series will be Building the Wingnut Wings Felixstowe F.2A (Early) in 1/32 Scale, by Gary Boxall. Those of you who have seen Gary’s amazing build on Facebook will appreciate just how terrific his model is.

Work is currently under way, with an anticipated release date of late September. Stay tuned for more news and information as it comes to hand!

Most people I’m sure are familiar with the term Murphy’s Law, and the general concept it represents. In the publishing game, we call it Muphry’s Law, and it seems to have struck again. Eagled-eyed reader Don Harding spotted some duplicated text in our new Phantom book, so we have now corrected this, and released a version 1.1 update.

“Building the British Phantoms Vol. 1” Nearly Ready!

I’m pleased to report that our next title, Building the British Phantoms Vol. 1 by Geoff Coughlin, has reached first draft, and will be ready soon. The book is currently 368 pages, and features six kit builds, 20 colour profiles by Simon Hull, chapters on the Evolution and Key Features of the FG.1, and a 62-page Walkaround of FG.1 XT864.

Announcing “Building the British Phantoms Volume One”!

I’m pleased to announce that our next title will be Building the British Phantoms Volume One: The FG.1 Phantom II in Royal Navy, Fleet Air Arm, and A&AEE Service, by renowned UK modeller Geoff Coughlin. As the title implies, this is the first of a three-volume series, with Volume Two covering the FGR.2, and Volume Three focussing on the F-4J(UK) variant.

Volume One will also be the first in our new Modeller’s Monograph Series, and will feature six kit builds, 20 colour profiles, an extensive walkaround of FG.1 XT864, and chapters on the evolution of the British Phantom and key features of the FG.1 Phantom II.
