Originally from Chichester on the South Coast of England, I moved to New Zealand in mid-2000. My father influenced my interest in modelling from an early age and I would build just about any kit that I could get my hands on.
After starting a career in healthcare, my interest in modelling faded and was replaced by cars. However, after moving to NZ, my interest was rekindled in the mid-2000s and I was back cutting, gluing and painting styrene again. After initially building armour kits, I was the recipient of a Wingnut Wings Camel after winning 1st place in a competition. I have been collecting and building WW1 aircraft ever since.
And thanks to my long suffering wife, Fleur, I hope to be able to continue for many years to come.
