Born and raised in Toronto, Canada and like many modellers of my age, I started building models when I was young lad, influenced by watching 1960s era movies such as Battle of Britain, and Tora Tora, Tora. I joined the local IPMS model club when I was 15, with my years at university studying to become an Urban Planner, as the only hiatus from the hobby. I have been at it ever since, non-stop to this day building for major model magazines across the globe. I build mostly air, land and sea military subjects, focusing mostly on Italian and Japanese WWII subjects. My other pursuits are Japanese Martial Arts having done that hobby for almost as long as scale modelling. I am a military veteran, married with two children, and still live here in Toronto Canada, in fact moving back to the house where I grew up in, where I built my first model airplane—an Airfix 1/72 Beaufighter!
